Matcha- literally translates as “powdered tea.” Stone ground organic fresh green tea leaves from a supreme Gyokuro green tea are minced into a fine powder. For the tea ceremony the powdered Matcha is measured with a bamboo spoon and mixed into a bowl using hot water, then whipped with a bamboo whisk into a thick froth.
