Subject: Tasting Evaluation
We received the samples last Wednesday and have been tasting them at every opportunity. I've purchased traditional teas from dozens of higher-end tea shops specialty importers, internet wholesalers, and distributors in Yunnan and Hong Kong. In those experiences I've tried some truly exceptional teas as well as having numerous disappointments. I've come to expect certainly levels of quality from certain types of sources, and internet tea distributors have rarely scored high on my lists. Your price list and somewhat modest selection of traditional teas led me to expect good to very good tea at reasonable prices for their quality.
Similar businesses have sold us mediocre tea at somewhat overpriced rates, so I have learned to be skeptical of any new tea source. I was *not* expecting tea that compared nearly on par with the highest-grade varieties I've ever tasted and running at many times your cost. It's difficult to impress me as much as you have -- your samples have successfully blown me away! So far I've sampled seven of the eleven teas you sent and all of them have received enthusiastic thumbs up from myself and my tasters. I'm going to have trouble selecting which varieties to choose for my first order!
Please set up my wholesale account. I'd very much like to place our first selection in the next week or two.
