We Are Collaborating with The Try Guys!

In the second of his six-part YouTube video series, Zach Kornfeld of The Try Guys dives deeper into his search for finding the perfect teas to use for his own tea company. Zach AKA Korndiddy is partnering with Art of Tea to help source, blend, and pack an energizing tea blend and a calming tea blend (names of the blends currently TBD). In order to make his dream tea company, his first step was to try as many Art of Tea samples as possible to determine to better understand flavor and what flavor profiles he wants to move forward with.

With over 50 different Art of Tea blends to sample, Zach shares some of his favorites in Zach's Tea Episode 2.

Starting with Silver Needle, Zach describes this white tea flavor as if "you could take all of the dew off of the grass on a Spring morning and sip it." For his morning beverage, he says that he wants "something that feels like a warm hug and then slaps you across the face." Mentioning that his autoimmune disease keeps him from getting great sleep a lot of the time, he is looking for something that will kickstart his day. While he loves the Green Teas and White Teas he samples, he continues his venture onto Black Teas where the fireworks start going off for him.

Starting with Art of Tea's English Breakfast blend, Zach decides that his wakeup tea is definitely going to be a black tea because of how much he loves it and how black tea makes him feel. After sampling and loving English Breakfast, Zach wants to find a black tea that is more "interesting" and moves onto Art of Tea's Monks Blend. After just one sip, Zach describes Monks Blend as God-Level and "what you expect black tea to be and what you want it to be." 

Monks Blend is from the pristine gardens of a Northern Indian monastery straight into your morning cup. This Indian black tea is a blend of three select black teas that steep a dark caramel color with crisp notes of apple and a light malty finish.

With a short nod to Oolong Teas, Art of Tea's Plum Oolong is another favorite of the sampling bunch. Succulent schizandra berries and sweet amber oolong leaves are blended with the tender essence of plum to create our Plum Oolong tea. This tart and fruity plum tea lends a beautiful cup at any time of day.

Moving into herbal blends, Zach starts with our Bright Eyed blend and exclaims that it "kicks ass." Bright Eyed is an invigorating blend of turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and other fragrant spices, this loose leaf blend draws from Ayurvedic principles to energize and awaken your mind and body--all without caffeine! This autumnal tisane brews to a beautiful copper hue and can be enjoyed at any time of day.

Next up was Ginger Ginseng which Zach described by saying "the ginger takes me to a place that I really like." He also enjoyed Rooibos Chai for the tingle, spice, and aromatic vibe.
