Cozy Tea Blends We Love!

Earlier this month, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of cold weather. In honor of this annual tradition, and our favorite groundhog, we decided to compile a list of our coziest tea blends to help you get through this year’s extended winter.

As a general rule, to create heat in your body, you should consume ingredients that improve overall circulation. Anything that tastes bold or spicy is perfectly suited for the job, so stock up on tea blends that include pungent spices like black pepper, cardamom, cloves, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. Additionally, we recommend always using freshly drawn water in your kettle and following precise brewing instructions to ensure the highest quality cup every single time.
With that, here is our list of cold-weather tisanes that we love for guaranteed coziness-in-a-cup:

  • Bright Eyed: Bright Eyed is a customer favorite and with good reason! This divine blend of aromatic and bold spices, including cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, and black peppercorn, will warm and revitalize you from the inside, out. This full-bodied and spicy blend is perfect for any time of the day, so brew a cup and feel the difference today!
  • Breathe Tea: Our Breathe herbal blend was designed to promote a sense of calmness and relaxation with its unique medley of ingredients. Be sure to inhale deeply to make the most of this organic green rooibos blend, packed full of flavor with ginger, chili flakes, turmeric, and lemongrass. Breathe is fantastic on its own, and equally divine in a Hot Toddy, which we also recommend for your especially chilly winter days.
  • Rooibos Chai Tea: Our Rooibos Chai is a delicious caffeine-free alternative to our equally popular Tali’s Masala Chai Tea. This blend includes a plethora of delicious spices, including ginger, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. It also tastes fantastic with a splash of your favorite non-dairy milk and a bit of natural sweetener like raw honey or organic brown sugar, so whip up a Rooibos Chai Tea latte for a slightly more indulgent treat.

We hope that this list helps you get through the extra weeks of winter and that you find a new favorite cold-weather tea! And tonight, we invite you to grab a blanket, light your favorite candle (like our Earl Grey Creme Candle), and snuggle up with Bright Eyed, Breathe, or Rooibos Chai. Cheers, and stay warm!
