Matcha Kit

Soak the whisk in hot water to make the bamboo tips flexible and prevent clumping. Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl, then add about 2 ounces of hot water (around 175°F). Using the whisk, gently whisk in a W or M motion to break up clumps and create a smooth, frothy consistency. Whisk for about 20-30 seconds until small bubbles form.

After use, rinse the matcha whisk gently under warm water to remove matcha residue, avoiding soap or scrubbing. Shake off excess water and place it on its side or in a whisk holder to air dry, maintaining its shape. Store the whisk in a dry, cool place away from moisture.

Ceremonial Grade Matcha contains moderate caffeine, offering a clean, sustained energy boost without the jitters often associated with coffee. A single serving (1-2 grams, about one teaspoon) contains approximately 40-70 mg of caffeine, which is less than a cup of coffee but more than most teas.

For the best cup of matcha, use high-quality Ceremonial Grade Matcha and sift it to avoid clumps. Add 1-2 teaspoons of matcha to 2 ounces of water heated to around 175°F. Whisk vigorously in a W or M motion for 20-30 seconds until a smooth, frothy texture forms, and enjoy!
